The April Social Clubs programme has landed and it's full of fun

👥 APRIL FACE-TO-FACE SOCIAL CLUBS: These will be taking place face-to-face around Manchester.

👥  Wednesday 6th April, 2-3.30pm: Urban Gardening - CITY CENTRE - Come along to find out about the Urban Gardening project we are going to be involved with all year at Plant Noma. We’ll be helping them make the area more green over the course of 2022, at this club we’ll be learning about the project over a brew and maybe even potting our first plants.

👥 Thursday 7th April, 10.30-12pm: Manchester Art Gallery: Behind the Scenes - CITY CENTRE - Join Cindy and William, pals from the Love Your Neighbour Programme, on a tour of the Manchester Art Gallery stores. We will be accompanied by curators on this exclusive trip to learn about future plans for the Gallery and artwork.

👥 Friday 8th April, 1-2.15pm: Lunchtime Quiz - CHORLTON -  Join your neighbours for a fun lunch time quiz at this Chorlton bar. We will be in the outdoor heated terrace at the back, so bring layers just to keep cozy.

👥 Tuesday 12th April, Theatre Trip - Join your neighbours to watch this new production by award-winning theatre company, Les Enfants Terribles. A story about grief, loss, growing up and fitting in told through live music, performance and puppetry.

👥 Tuesday 19th April, 6-7.30pm: Desert Island Discs - CITY CENTRE - Like the radio show of its namesake, come and share a song and why it’s meaningful to you. We’re returning to our journey through the decades this month- what is your favourite song from the 80’s or 90’s?

👥 Thursday 21st April, 1-2.30pm: National Football Museum Tour - CITY CENTRE - Join us for an exclusive guided tour of the National Football Museum and have a look through football’s rich history.

👥 Wednesday 27th April, 6-8.15pm: Documentary Club - CITY CENTRE - Another instalment of Documentary Club. Join your younger neighbours to watch a new documentary, then have a chat about it over snacks and refreshments.

👥 Thursday 28th April, 12-1.30pm: Stories and Snacks - ANCOATS - Join your younger neighbours for a special shared reading session- shared Reading brings people together through stories to talk, laugh, and share. Come along and enjoy listening to a story or poem over a cup of something hot - no pressure to talk or read, just a chance to relax with others.

🎦 APRIL VIDEO CLUBS: If you can’t currently meet face-to-face or want some extra activities, the fun is still being had online.

🎦 Monday 11th April, 1-2pm: Tech Club - ZOOM - Come along and ask any burning questions you have about your technology, or the internet!

🎦 Wednesday 13th April, 5.30-6.30pm: Virtual Quiz with Ged - ZOOM - Bring your competitive edge, and join your neighbours for our Virtual Quiz Club hosted by neighbour Ged.

🎦 Monday 25th April, 1-2.pm: Chair Yoga - ZOOM - Join us for a relaxing session of chair yoga with a qualified yoga teacher. The class will include breathing exercises, stretching, and yoga you can do from the comfort of your chair.
