Hubble, bubble, toil and trouble something...really fun this way comes! Join us for another fundraising event to raise money to help tackle loneliness and isolation across our rapidly changing city.
On Tuesday 30th October, we’re throwing a halloween themed bash. Colony in Ancoats will be taken over by ghouls, ghosts and an all female choir as SHE Choir Manchester perform a haunting set of popular songs.
Keep an eye out for the skeletons and fill up on our spooky snacks. And you can BYOB too.
Get involved with our trick-or-treat tombola and win big in our amazing raffle. Prizes include a £50 voucher for Oast House and Iberica, theatre tickets for the Royal Exchange and HOME, and an amazing hamper from Manchester’s own Unicorn co-operative.
Manchester Cares is tackling loneliness and isolation across our rapidly changing city through four key programmes: our free weekly activities (Social Clubs), our one to one friendship scheme (Love Your Neighbour) and our exciting events and challenges (Community Fundraising). This is all underpinned by our proactive Outreach programme, where we put ourselves into the community and hold events at places like supermarkets and GP surgeries to chat with neighbours about our activities.
This work deepens in the winter, and we’re raising money to support our Winter Wellbeing programme, which helps to keep some of our most vulnerable older neighbours connected during the cold, isolating months of the year.
And when just £5 could help provide a neighbour with a pair of gloves you’re helping to make sure Mancunians feel warm and well this winter, just by buying a ticket.
We can’t wait to see you there, it's going to be a thriller!
