👥 MAY FACE-TO-FACE SOCIAL CLUBS: These will be taking place face-to-face around Manchester

👥  Tuesday 3rd May, 6-8.15pm, Documentary Club - WITHINGTON
Another brilliant instalment of Documentary Club. Join neighbours to watch a new documentary, then have a chat about it over snacks and refreshments.

👥 Saturday 7th May, 2-3.30pm: Spring Picnic - ANCOATS
Join us for a Spring Picnic with food and games. A great way to get to know neighbours and get outside (don’t worry we have a rainy day back up… it is Manchester, after all).

👥 Tuesday 10th May, 4.30-6pm: Bowls and Brews - GORTON
Join your younger neighbours on a summer evening for our first club back at bowls club at Debdale Park. Whether you’re a pro or a total newcomer, we’re sure you’ll have a great laugh at this early evening club. All equipment provided, no sandals allowed.

👥 Wednesday 11th May, 12-2.15pm: Tech Session and Skill Sharing - OXFORD ROAD AREA
Hosted by the Gift Society from Manchester University and Manchester Metropolitan University, you can bring along your phones, laptops and tablets to this session for some tech support. In the second half of the session, there will be a chance to learn from some of your very own Manchester Cares’ neighbours with optional line dancing, knitting and writing sessions. Set to be a great afternoon.

👥 Thursday 12th May, 2-3.30pm: Urban Gardening - CITY CENTRE
Come along and join in the Urban Gardening project we are going to be involved with all year at Plant Noma. We’ll be helping them make the area more green over the course of 2022.

👥 Friday 13th May, 1-2.30pm: Castlefield Fun Photo Walk - CITY CENTRE
Join us for a stroll around the canals of historic Castlefield with lots of great photo opportunities. You’re welcome to join whether you’re an expert or a beginner and you can bring along your own camera/smartphone or if you don’t have one, let us know and we will provide a disposable camera for you.

👥 Tuesday 17th May, 6-7.30pm: Desert Island Discs - CITY CENTRE
Like the radio show of its namesake, come and share a song and why it’s meaningful to you. As we get right into the middle of Spring- what is a song that makes you feel alive and energised?

👥 Thursday 19th May, 1-2.30pm: Lunchtime Quiz - CHORLTON
Join your neighbours for a fun lunch time quiz at this Chorlton bar. We will be in the outdoor heated terrace at the back, so bring layers just to keep cozy.

👥 Thursday 26th May, 12-1.30pm: Stories and Snacks - ANCOATS
Join your neighbours for a special shared reading session- shared Reading brings people together through stories to talk, laugh, and share. Come along and enjoy listening to a story or poem over a cup of something hot - no pressure to talk or read, just a chance to relax with others.

👥 Friday 27th May, 1-2.30pm: Community Lunch - FALLOWFIELD
Come join your neighbours in the lovely setting of the Market Garden for some lunch, a brew, a natter and some laid back games. The club is outside but has a fully covered area, please bring appropriate clothing for the weather.

👥 Tuesday 31st May, 2-5pm: Vic Square’s Jubilee Party - ANCOATS
Victoria Square and its residents have kindly invited us to bring a small group along to their Jubilee Party where there will be music and refreshments. Spaces are very limited so please book your space as soon as you can.
