For a whole year, older neighbour Tony has been curating regular playlists for the Manchester Cares' community. This week the playlist features artists from different eras, from different genres of music, expressing different emotions.
You can listen to the mix here, so grab your morning coffee and tune in.
Puddles Pity Party – Nature Boy
“Nature Boy” is from the album “Unhappy Hour at The Loner’s Lounge” by Puddles Pity Party, the alter-ego of Mike Geier. Puddles has a depressed persona and refrains from speaking on stage or giving interviews. His shows include a mix of silent prop comedy, mime, and audience participation with songs interplayed throughout creating a narrative structure.
Diana Dors – Let There Be Love
Diana Dors was an English film and television actress and singer. She recorded only one complete album, the swing-themed “Swingin' Dors”, in 1960. The LP was originally released on red vinyl and with a gatefold sleeve.
