Social Clubs

Social Clubs

Manchester Cares' group activities are really ramping up. We have ten exciting Social Clubs in April. By late spring, they'll take place a few times a week and offer a chance for older and younger neighbours to share time, laughter and new experiences that help everyone to feel a part of our rapidly changing city.

Clubs during week days, evenings and weekends include dance parties, new technology workshops, 'back to work' business visits, games nights, pub clubs, and more. And we want to hear your ideas too – so let us know how you'd like to shape our clubs by getting in touch through our Contact page.

Love Your Neighbour

Love Your Neighbour

Starting in spring 2018, Love Your Neighbour will be a friendship matching scheme bringing older neighbours over 65 and younger neighbours together to spend a little time one-to-one. Friends will be able to enjoy a cup of tea and a natter about all sorts – from work to relationships to days gone by – and build deep and mutual friendship over time that help bring a little of the outside world in for neighbours who can struggle to get out.

Community Fundraising

Community Fundraising

Our third programme centres on you, our wonderful supporters, raising money to make Manchester Cares' activities possible. We need your help to raise money by completing exciting challenges, hosting and attending events, building corporate partnerships, and supporting the digital campaigns that provide another way for older and younger neighbours to come together to support their network.
