Calling all explorers! On Saturday 10th August, you’ve got the chance to discover Manchester in a unique and fun way – by joining us for an exciting treasure hunt around the city centre.
From Piccadilly to St Peter’s Square and beyond, your team will have to race against the clock to uncover clues, unlock the secrets of the city, and win some fantastic prizes!
Starting at our base camp the Manchester Art Gallery, your team will have three hours to figure out the 10 clues and find the secret locations. Whilst there will be a prize for the first team back to HQ, this isn’t all about speed. There are extra challenges to help you win more points, and we all know that points equals prizes!
As if that wasn’t enough fun, there will also be a prize for the best fancy dress. Whether you come as pirates searching for treasure, superheroes saving the city or explorers looking for secrets, the most committed team will be awarded a coveted trophy.
The day will start at 11.00am with a short presentation and then the hunt will begin. You’ll have three hours to race around the city to unlock all the clues and complete the challenges, and then get back to HQ for the prize giving!
All proceeds from the event will support Manchester Cares to tackle isolation and loneliness in our rapidly changing city. . Our Social Clubs are based all around the city from Miles Platting to Moss Side, and help older and younger neighbours build strong connections with the history, culture and each other.
