A big thank you to everyone who came to Leaf for our Harry Potter fundraising quiz on Thursday 30th May. From duelling to quidditch to a live performance from SHE Choir, everyone had a great time and helped to support local communities across Manchester. 

After three rounds of questions and three exciting bonus rounds, ‘The SHEekers’ emerged victorious, after scoring some bonus points in the quidditch bonus round! They also took home the coveted House Cup.

And by the end of the night, almost £300 had been raised to help support Social Clubs this summer. When just £20 can help to run each Social Club, everything raised will make a real and tangible difference. 

This would not have been possible without the generous support of Manchester International Festival, Unicorn Grocery and The Comedy Store who generously donated to the raffle.

And of course, it wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity of everyone who came on the night and donated to Manchester Cares.

Everything raised at the quiz will help to support our programmes and tackle loneliness in younger and older neighbours alike. You’ve helped to make our summer Social Clubs possible. Thanks to you, neighbours like John and Ollie will enjoy regular company, conversation and companionship
