​How you can support us

Donating a percentage of sales from one of your products or services is a fantastic way to drive sales, engage with new audiences and tell your customers that you care about your community.

In December 2021, local company Colony hosted a bake sale across several of its co-working offices. They raised over £100 for our 2021 Big Give Christmas Challenge, which could support four exciting Social Clubs for older and younger neighbours to enjoy together.

The Big Give Christmas Challenge

Every year, local businesses make a huge difference by supporting us in The Big Give Christmas Challenge.

On the first week of December, charities can run match-funded campaigns through The Big Give - meaning all donations are doubled. Supporting our campaign, through fundraising or donations, is a fantastic way to connect your community over winter, which for many is the most isolating time of year.

There are two ways that your business can support us to reach our goal this year:

1. Pledge match funding

Half of the match funding is provided by The Big Give, but we need to secure half from supporters in our network. By pledging match funding towards our campaign, you’ll be making a direct difference to older and younger neighbours in our community, and you’ll motivate even more supporters by doubling their donations. All match funding must be pledged by August, and you’ll need to donate the amount you’ve pledged following the campaign in December.

2. Donate during the campaign

We have just one week to reach our goal during the campaign in December, and your business can make a massive difference in helping us get there. You can pledge your donation in advance, and we’ll contact you during the week with details on how to donate through the Big Give platform. Plus, your donation will be matched, making double the difference.
